Early adrenaline + early airway in OHCA
Korean nationwide registry cohort of 20,662 OHCA patients testing whether early adrenaline (≤10 min) combined with early advanced airway management (≤6 min) improves outcomes — the combination roughly doubled odds of good neurological recovery (aOR 2.44) and survival to discharge (aOR 2.18) versus late/late, and early adrenaline with late airway showed no benefit, but the interaction attenuated in sensitivity analyses addressing resuscitation time bias, so it is hypothesis-generating rather than confirmatory.

Language barriers change trauma assessment
US retrospective analysis of 1,220,982 EMS-attended blunt trauma activations examining whether patient-provider language barriers change prehospital care — the 2% with documented language barriers were more often treated and transported (80.3% vs 75.1%) yet less likely to have pain scores documented (60.6% vs 63.6%), with slightly more GCS 3–8 presentations, showing assessment and documentation patterns shift when clinician and patient can't share a language.
